Role of the Control Commission

According to the statutes, the Control Commission (CC) is a consultative organ which ensures that the decisions and activities of AGEPoly comply with statutes and regulations of the Association.

The role of the commission is to check whether that the different actions of AGEPoly comply with statutes, the Switzerland laws, the EPFL regulations, etc.. Any member of AGEPoly (student executive committee, ...) may ask to the Control Commission to intervene in a file. The CC has no power of decision, however, it may make recommendations to the various organs of the AGEPoly and / or speak during the General Assembly.

It is important to note that the CC does not deal with operational issues.

General Operation

Any Agepoly member can submit a subject to the DC (direct to a member or to the whole committee, through the email address mentioned below). The item will be discussed by the CC and, if it falls under its jurisdiction, treaty. In all cases, the person who put forward the item will receive feedback explaining the process advances.
