Deferred exam session :
As we all know, the number of COVID-19 cases is increasing. Therefore, we asked EPFL to organize a deferred exam session for this semester, and they accepted! If you are sick or have symptoms, you will need to inform the student desk before the exam and ask your section so that a new exam is scheduled for the start of the February vacation. All the info on COVID at EPFL here .

Measures in consultation for teaching in universities:
As you may have seen, the Federal Council put in consultation with the cantons several measures this Friday including the possibility of taking online courses for the end of the semester. The exams would remain face-to-face. AGEPoly has decided to write to Swissuniversities, the canton and the Federal Council to warn about the impact these measures will have.

Disciplinary measures at EPFL
The new Ordinance on disciplinary measures at EPFL concerning students (cms-bachelor-master-doctorat-formation continue) entered into effect on November 1st and replaces the old 2008 disciplinary regulations. It was the subject to an internal consultation at the EPFL followed by an external consultation with the federal offices.

Meditation app:
The Medito Foundation offers a free app in order to guarantee access to meditation to as many people as possible, accessible to beginners as well as regulars. Tested and approved, we recommend it! As the end of the semester and the following exam session can often be stressful, there’s no better time to try it out. Let’s take care of ourselves and our well-being!
Paid support courses:
AppApp is a program that offers teaching support to apprentices from the canton of Vaud. They recruit EPFL students to manage groups of 3 to 4 people, one evening a week between 6pm and 8pm. This activity is therefore compatible your study schedule and relatively well remunerated (CHF31.- net/h). You can find more information on this website. |
