Dear student,
We hope your exams were a success and that you’re enjoying your holidays :). We’re writing this email
to invite you to the AGEPoly Extraordinary General Assembly (GA), which will take place on
13 February at 5pm on Zoom (the link will be updated shortly before the GA).
This meeting aims at voting on an amendment to the 2023-2024 budget to be able to carry out new projects.
Why do we hold a General Meeting?
The GA is AGEPoly’s highest decision-making body. It’s the occasion to learn more about our activities and to have an impact on them! Several projects that had not been anticipated when the budgets were voted on at the November GA have emerged during the first half of the year. We therefore suggest that the budgets be readjusted to make room for these projects. As these projects involve a considerable amount of money, it’s important for us to give you the opportunity to have your say on them.
Agenda:
- Welcome and explanation of how the EGM works
- Election of scrutineers
- Report of 2023-2024 General Control Commission
- Validation of changes to the 2023-2024 budget
- Miscellaneous
How to vote?
Votes will be collected using the zoom “polls” tool. Everything will be re explained at the beginning of the GA.
In order not to make this email too long, all the technical points and details (amendments, etc.) are explained
on our site. We highly encourage you to check it out!
What are the plans?
- Instead of organising Polynice off-campus, we are proposing to set up a synthetic
ice rink on campus for several days.
- To overcome the difficulty that associations have in organising small events on campus, we have been looking for an off-campus venue that could be used as a refuge and that we could rent out.
As an AGEPoly member, please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any questions, comments or suggestions, which are essential to our work ;).
On that note, we hope to see you at this GA and wish you a well-deserved and excellent break!
The AGEPoly Board,
