Hello there 🙂
We hope your semester is going well and that you’re taking the time to enjoy the sunshine! We’re writing this e-mail to invite you to the AGEPoly Extraordinary General Assembly (EGA) which will be held on Tuesday May 14 at 6pm in CE 1 4. The goal will be to vote on a modification to the 2023-2024 budget and to make a few changes to our activity committees (CdA).
But before we get started, we’d like to take this opportunity to remind you that you’re also invited
to attend the OGA on Tuesday May 7 at 6pm in CO 3. Its purpose will be to elect the new
AGEPoly Board. You can find details of the Agenda here, which has
been amended following the addition of points by students like you ;-).
But let’s get back to the Extraordinary General Assembly!
Why do we hold a General Assembly (GA)?
The GA is AGEPoly’s supreme decision-making body. It’s an opportunity to learn more about our activities
and have an impact on them! As several projects were not anticipated when the budgets were voted on at
the November GA, we would like to reallocate part of the budgets. As this readjustment involves a
considerable amount of money, it’s important for us to give you the chance to have your say on the matter.
But that’s not all we’ll be discussing! We need your opinion on the following items that have been placed
on the agenda.
Agenda:
- Welcome and explanation of GA procedures
- Election of scrutineers
- Presentation of AGEPoly activities since the last GA
- Modification of 2023-2024 budgets
- Dissolution of the CdA PolyLAN
- Change of the CdA name from ‘GnuGeneration’ to ‘gnugen’
- Miscellaneous
How to vote?
Voting will be organized electronically. You’ll need a computer or smartphone. Don’t hesitate to write to us if you can’t get one on the evening of the GA. We’ll give you all the information you need at the start of the GA.
Please note that the GA may be streamed on Youtube and Instagram, but only those presenting points will be filmed. Please note that this does not allow you to intervene or vote, only to watch the debates!
To not make this e-mail too long, all the points and technical details (amendments, etc.) are explained on our website. We strongly encourage you to consult it!
As a member of AGEPoly, don’t hesitate to send us your questions, comments or suggestions, which are essential to our work ;-).
On that note, we hope to see you at this AGE, and don’t forget that AGEPoly is your association – you’re a member!
The AGEPoly Board,
